Protection from the elements is a basic necessity for campers. But there's
nothing basic about our "hybrid cabin-style," two-room Weathermaster tent.
Like dome designs, the Weathermaster tent has a curved roof that funnels
water off the tent and provides increased stability against the wind. Like
cabin styles, the Weathermaster tent has upright walls for interior
spaciousness and sturdy steel poles that help it withstand gusty winds and
cloudbursts.
In addition, the Weathermaster tent features Coleman's proprietary
WeatherTec™ system, an exclusive set of features designed and tested for
optimal performance in wind and rain. WeatherTec features include leak-proof
welded floor seams, inverted seams with inside stitching, taped rain fly
pole seam, and water-repellent fabric, thread, webbing and zippers. |

Unlike conventional grommet-and-tab assemblies, the webbing tab laces
through the Pole Talon and locks tent pole securely to tent during set-up.
This eliminates stress on the webbing and is extremely helpful in windy
conditions or solo set-up. Unique patent-pending design is lightweight,
stronger, and more reliable than most pole foot designs available today. The
Pole Talon is affixed to the webbing tab extending from the corner of the
tent by lacing it on to the webbing. Bar tacks prevent the pole foot from
sliding back and forth. The tent poles then quickly snap on and off the Pole
Talon during tent assembly
